How to become a member 

We can offer information, signposting and advice to the general public... but it you'd like to stay closely involved and have access to membership opportunities you are able to do that simply by completing a form.



To become a member of the Mental Health Forum you must be:

  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Live in the catchment area of The Southern Health Trust
  • Have personal lived experience (past or present) of using Services  for treatment of a mental health condition or challenge (Trust, GP, or GP referred)

You will be contacted by a peer member of staff to confirm receipt of your form, to discuss the Forum in more detail, as well as how to access the newsletter and other information or opportunities that may help you. Please take this opportunity to ask questions and offer any more personal information you may wish added to your confidential member record.
